January’s 2024 News From Dún Laoghaire Town

24. 01. 2024

Welcome to our January 2024
DúnLaoghaireTown.IE newsletter

Dun Laoghaire town is buzzing with interest about the public consultation for the transformative Living Streets project. Our business community can be proud of our two local businesses which have been shortlisted for craft awards as well as The Little Wooden Peg being crowned the Best Children’s Shop in Ireland! Residents recently spotted dolphins in our harbour, a cousin of Fungie the Dingle Dolphin perhaps? Our town is mourning the loss of Michael Costello of Costello’s Hardware shop on Patrick Street. Upcoming events in our town include the Digital Dun Laoghaire February meetup discussing AI and tech, a grant and funding workshop by DLR LEO for SMEs, an Open Mic Night at Walters Bar, and the DLR County Council’s Zero Emission Building Summit focused on sustainability.

And of course if you have Dún Laoghaire related news you would like to share please contact me – [email protected]
