24. 01. 2017

Bank of Ireland Payment Acceptance announce 50 new jobs and the opening of a new Irish headquarters in Dún Laoghaire as part of a €9.1 million investment in the Irish market

Bank of Ireland

The new full-time positions, include jobs in sales and marketing, customer support and administration, are planned to be filled this year.

Operating under the BOI Payment Acceptance brand name in the Republic, EVO established a presence here in 2014 and works in partnership with Bank of Ireland. In two years, the company has grown from five to 70 people. The addition of 50 new people will bring the Irish workforce to 120 people in 2017. With extensive operations in North America and Europe, the company employs more than 2,000 professionals worldwide.

BOI Payment Acceptance Ireland and UK has experienced a rapid growth over the past two years, which is led by a 20% increase of debit-card spend in Ireland year-on-year. The growing Irish economy and the increasing use of card payments by Irish consumers is a great opportunity to deliver the service to more Irish businesses and consumers.

Hereby we would like to welcome Bank of Ireland Payment Acceptance managing director Brian Cleary and his team on behalf of Dún Laoghaire BID and the Digital Dún Laoghaire initiative.
