About DMDS

DMDS is a 70-strong musical society with a tradition of musical performances since 1959. We produce musicals and concerts, and compete in choral competitions.  It was founded in 1959 by the Methodist Church, but in 2003 was reconstituted as a community group.  In addition to our win in the North Wales Competion, we have won the Frank Cullinane Trophy for the best musical society choir in Ireland at the Association of Irish Musical Societies (AIMS) Choral Competition in New Ross earlier this year.
