The EnviroCom Awards 2015 are a cooperative effort by the Chamber and County Council to recognise businesses and agencies of all sizes and sectors for their environmental achievements.
Smaller and/or locally based businesses generally do not get the recognition they deserve for their efforts to conserve water and energy, reduce waste and pollution and protect the environment. The EnviroCom Awards, now in their ninth year, are designed to remedy that with past winners ranging from major multinationals to a variety of small local businesses including a dry cleaner, hair salon, clothing shops, mobile bike repair, etc.
The Awards nomination period closes on Friday 26th June. Judging will take place during the summer and the Awards will be presented by the Cathaoirleach and Alex White TD, Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural resources at a gala Awards Dinner in November. There is no cost to apply or for finalists to attend the Awards Dinner.
Nominations can be submitted by, post, e-mail or direct online application at www.dlrchamber.ie/envirocomawards
